Moderators: Ben Zauzmer, Christine Baik

Here is what you need to do to participate:

1. Choose a partner. Only groups of two will be allowed, unless we end up with an odd number. You do not need to find someone who has already been to a club meeting, but we encourage you to choose someone who is interested in world affairs.

2. Choose a country. You and your partner must agree on your top three country choices from the list above. No nation will have veto power.

3. E-mail your country preferences. Please reply listing your name, your partner’s name, and all of your top three country choices. We will assign countries on a first-come, first-serve basis.

4. Attend a preparation meeting. The meeting will take place on Friday, November 19, after school in the librarium. We will go over the procedures (motions, points, etc.) of the conference and any questions you have. If you have already participated in past years, this meeting is not mandatory but highly recommended. All students attending PMUNC will be expected to stay late to discuss trip details.

5. Write a Position Paper. A Position Paper is a short summary of an issue and what, if anything, your country feels should be done. Helpful information can be found at: guidetopositionpapers.aspx.
